Weekend

Available for 21 days

The rapid spread of Ebola in the Democratic Republic of Congo has created a "deeply alarming" situation, the medical charity M茅decins Sans Fronti猫res (MSF) has warned. Speaking two weeks on from the outbreak being declared, MSF deputy director Dr Alan Gonzales said never before had "so many cases" been recorded so soon. Also in the programme: a new test that could potentially save thousands of women from undergoing chemotherapy; and Iranians get back online. Presenter Julian Worricker is joined by Helene von Bismarck, historian and author, Senior Associate Fellow at the Royal United Services Institute, and Fellow of the Royal Historical Society; and Patrick Bishop, military author, journalist and historian.
