Caleb Rimtobaye is an award-winning musician, singer, DJ and guitarist from Chad. He performs as AfrotroniX, wearing a helmet that looks like it’s from a science fiction movie. He’s created a unique sound - Saharan electro - blending the traditional rhythms and ancient singing styles of Chad with electronic sounds including deep house, amapiano, afro house, afro tech, dubstep and ambient electronics. His mission is to change the image of Africa through his music. In this episode, AfrotroniX talks to DJ Edu, the Afroboss, about his latest album, the current music scene and afrofuturism.
