El Mehdi is a singer, songwriter and visual artist, born in Morocco and now living in Canada. His music is rooted in pop, but also the traditional Moroccan music he grew up listening to. He鈥檚 just released his debut EP Salam. It鈥檚 a deeply personal piece of work 鈥 he comes out about his sexuality and also explores his Amazigh heritage.
