It is often said, that we live in an ever changing world.By Angela McCully-Jackson So what's it like to inhabit a place that can seem comfortingly familiar, and yet, strangely alien? To live somewhere that is forever changing, and yet, remains the same. Welcome to my world …

| | My name is Angela, and I live within the boundaries of Keele University campus; this is located next to the village of Keele in Staffordshire.
I call the campus home because my husband works as a Chemistry lecturer for the University. When the University was first founded, it was envisaged that staff and students would live and work together in harmony, and the legacy of this ethos remains to this day. I'm neither an academic staff member or a student, nor a conference delegate or visitor. Therefore I can seem rather anonymous in this intimate little world. My home area has the beauty and tranquility of the countryside. Yet this merges effortlessly with the facilities and bustle of a town. It is a world in which a myriad of faces reflect their diverse origins and experiences, where the ebb and flow of life follows the seasonal changes associated with academia. Come and listen to what it's like to live in a place like Keele.
