Greetings my friends, welcome to the wonderful world of puppets. It was a wet and windy day, Fiver the Rabbit was sitting in the back window of his car with his friends, Oliver 鈥淟eftwing鈥 the Owl and the Bear whose name escapes me. But this was no ordinary day, not only had a Raccoon come along for the ride, but the two of them were about to make a new friend, Mr Michael Phone, a rather nice microphone from a land not so far away called Radio Stoke. They were to appear as part of my piece on puppets for the Radio Stoke 鈥淭alent鈥 Project.

Rudi Raccoon was especially pleased, as he is an avid texter and emailer (I said he had nimble typing paws) to the station and 鈥 following his appearance on 麻豆社 News鈥 Storyfix - felt that this would be the perfect opportunity to build on his fame. Rudi used to work in a holiday park (Or at least a bigger version of him) and the whole of Devon used to be teeming with little Raccoons. Sadly, the dream ended and 鈥 as the holiday park was taken over 鈥 Rudi and his long time partner, Rosie were given the old heave-ho. Rudi lost contact with Rosie (Ahhhh) and came to live with me where he keeps his own website.
The Rabbit was no stranger to the spot light. He was bought for the purpose of the making of a film at University to Art Garfunkel鈥檚 鈥淏right Eyes鈥. Where other students illustrated thundering music with skateboarding, Graffitierfercatering (Stick that in your dictionary OED, to Graffiti) and stuff (To give it its technical term), here was me; filming a Rabbit. Puppets have personality; all puppets are different and they quite probably have a life of their own. Am I mad? Have a listen to the audio link and make your own mind up!
