CELEBRATING EID
By Ayesha Bhatti
Ayesha's family are celebrating Eid. She says it's all about thanking God for what we've got, and giving to those who are less fortunate - it's the best feeling. The best Eid she's ever had was when she went to London to stay with her auntie. There were loads of them celebrating with fireworks. If you ask most people what Eid is about they say it's about eating, but Ayesha thinks you don't have to make it that - you should make it personal. She used not to understand the religious significance of Eid, but she knows now and it give her a warm feeling.

Asmara Arif Ayesha is right. We do forget what it's about and we take for granted the religious and moral aspects. We need to cherish every eid and take full advantage of the month of Ramadan Ishallah.
Hamza This is a nice, honest video about Eid. I am a Muslim convert who has only enjoyed two Eids so far and I always find it interesting to see other Muslims' experiences.
Famara. B. Bojang I agree with you about that, celebrating this great day is not only for eating. As you said, this day is to thank Allah ask him to forgive the bad things you have commited, and help those who are less fortunate.
