The Rabbi featured is my own local Rabbi and a close family friend. A couple of years ago, I decide to re-learn my hebrew, and the Rabbi was an excellent teacher. When I spoke to him about this video he remembers being very frustrated with the speed of progress the boy was making. Mind you, as I can testify from personal experience, learning your barmitzvah piece is very stressful; mostly, this 'stress' comes from Jewish Mothers! 'How did it go, today?' 'Let me hear you,' 'Is that all?' and the old favourite, 'It's only a few months/weeks away, you know! [hey - shrug - what ya gonna do?!]
