DAFFODILS
By Connie Mark
The sight of daffodils in the park outside her flat reminds Connie of the Wordsworth poem she learnt at school. She can still recite it from memory. The strange thing is that, growing up in Jamaica, she never ever saw a daffodil; but because her teachers were all British she learned British poetry, history and geography.
