This week Adam Walton explores "inspiration" and meets three scientists in Wales who discuss key inspirational moments in their lives, which have led them to pursue a career in science.

Dr Edward Gomez, Dr Anna Croft, Dr Tom Crick

is Education Director for Las Cumbras Observatory Global Telescope Network in Cardiff University.

is a bio-chemist at Bangor University and was recently awarded a Welsh Crucible Fellowship to develop her research.

is a senior lecturer in computer science at UWIC, and 2011 British Science Association Media Fellow.
