Yourself

To ask someone what they look like we say:
Sut wyt ti'n edrych?

To reply we could say:

Dw i'n dal.I'm tall.
Dw i'n fyr.I'm short.
Dw i'n weddol fach.I'm quite small.
Dw i'n dew.I'm fat.
Dw i'n denau.I'm thin.
Dw i'n esgyrnog.I'm skinny.
Dw i'n gyhyrog.I'm muscular.
Wyt ti'n dal?Are you tall?
Wyt ti'n denau?Are you thin?
Ydw, dw i'n dal.Yes, I'm tall.
Nac ydw, dw i ddim yn dal.No, I'm not tall.
Ydw, dw i'n denau.Yes, I'm thin
Nac ydw, dw i ddim yn denau. No, I'm not thin.

  • Remember the conjugation of the verb BOD - to be. It is essential in order to describe other people:
  • Dw i'n fach.I'm small.
    Rwyt ti'n fyr.You're short.
    Mae o'n denau.He's thin.
