The past

Now that you can talk about your morning routine in the present tense here's how to use the past tense.

Dw i'n codiMi wnes i godiI got up
Dw i'n molchiMi wnes i molchiI washed myself
Dw i'n gwisgoMi wnes i wisgoI got dressed
Dw i'n bwytaMi wnes i fwytaI ate

Mi wnes i means I did. Therefore the literal meaning of Mi wnes i godi is I did get up but this is the pattern used in north Wales to say I got up. Remember that you have to have a soft mutation after Mi wnes i E.g. gwisgo Mi wnes i wisgo.
Further examples of the past tense:

Ffonio (to telephone)- mi wnes i ffonio
Cerdded (to walk)- mi wnes i gerdded
Rhedeg (to run)- mi wnes i redeg
Here are some examples of full sentences
Mi wnes i fwyta brecwast.
Mi wnes i weld ci.
Mi wnes i ddarllen llyfr.
