Possessive pronouns (2)

We have seen that ein and eu don't cause a mutation and that the female ei causes an aspirate mutation:

Ei throwsus hitrowsus throwsus
Ei chath hicath chath
Ei phêl hipêl phêl

There is also something else to remember when using possessive pronouns. If the object begins with a vowel we need to add a h to it after the female ei, eu and ein:

Y llafariaidThe vowels

'a e i o u w y'

ei hafal hiher apple
ein heglwys niour church
eu hiâr nhwtheir chicken
ein horennau niour oranges
ei hutgorn hiher trumpet
eu hwyau nhwtheir eggs
ein hysgol niour school
