Interview with Pamela Salem

The actress who played Miss Moneypenny opposite Sean Connery's James Bond in Never Say Never Again visited Swindon recently. Listen to our interview.


Actress Pamela Salem who played Miss Moneypenny in the unofficial James Bond movie Never Say Never Again with Sean Connery paid a visit to Swindon on Thursday 29th September.

Pamela was in town to meet fans and sign autographs at memorabilia store Infinitely Better where over the years a host of genre stars have visited for memorable personal appearances.

She now lives and works in Los Angeles but English-born Pamela has appeared in numerous science fiction and fantasy films and TV programmes over the years. These include roles in Doctor Who, Blake's 7, The Tripods and Into the Labyrinth.

Her high profile, non-genre work also includes parts in Eastenders, The West Wing and the 1998 movie Gods and Monsters.

Âé¶¹Éç Wiltshire's resident sci-fi TV and film geek Daniel Garrett was on hand to chat to Pamela about taking on the iconic Miss Moneypenny role made famous by Lois Maxwell, what it was like to appear opposite two different Doctor Who's and if she'd like her character Joanne to return to Eastenders one day.

The actress discusses her memorable TV and film roles.
