Kat Rose-Martin

Bradford born and based, Kat Rose-Martin is a writer and actor for television and theatre and was the inaugural winner of the Kay Mellor Fellowship run by Leeds Playhouse and Rollem Productions alongside 麻豆社 Writers and Leeds City Council.
In 2020 she was part of 麻豆社 Writers Northern Voices development group. Her TV Drama The Crossleys made the BAFTA Rocliffe TV Drama Top 10 and her script Ursula, developed with RED Productions, made The Brit List 2021.
Kat has been part of several TV writers' rooms and has television writing credits including Holby City, The Dumping Ground, Beyond Paradise, Dinosaur and Waterloo Road.
