Royal Pearl Oolong

GREAT TASTE AWARDS 2014 - TWO GOLD STAR WINNER. A rare artisan oolong made using traditional techniques but heavily oxidized (around 90%) to create a dark amber infusion that has a memorable range of cinnamon, malt sugar, honey and citrus notes. There is no astringency or bitterness. As with high grade teas this oolong is best enjoyed by brewing over multiple infusions to taste the full flavour profile. If you've not tried a dark oolong we strongly recommend this one! Experiment with the water temperature and infusion times to experience different taste notes. This tea was awarded 2 Gold Stars at the 2014 Great Taste Awards. Currently out of stock.

Aroma & Taste: Cinnamon, honey, malt sugar with honey and some citrus notes.

Brewing: 1 tbsp per 200ml water at 95C for 2 minutes. Repeat infusions.
