  • Âé¶¹Éç MG ALBA Partnership

    Meadhanan Gàidhlig Alba (Gaelic Media Scotland) and the Âé¶¹Éç are working in partnership to deliver the new Gaelic digital television service. The partnership operates at both a corporate and an operational level with staff from both organisations working to deliver the new service. Âé¶¹Éç ALBA's Head of Service is Margaret Mary Murray (a Âé¶¹Éç employee) working with MG ALBA's Head of Content, Alan Esslemont. Âé¶¹Éç ALBA has no formal headquarters. Its staff and operation are based across Scotland, in Stornoway, Inverness and Glasgow.

    MG ALBA is the organisation responsible for ensuring that a diverse range of high quality programmes in Gaelic are made available to people in Scotland by funding, commissioning or producing for television, radio, online and new media and by engaging in training, development and audience research. Programmes for Âé¶¹Éç ALBA are produced by the independent sector, the Âé¶¹Éç and STV.
