• Â鶹Éç MG ALBA Partnership

  Meadhanan Gàidhlig Alba (Gaelic Media Scotland) and the Â鶹Éç are working in partnership to deliver the new Gaelic digital television service. The partnership operates at both a corporate and an operational level with staff from both organisations working to deliver the new service. Â鶹Éç ALBA's Head of Service is Margaret Mary Murray (a Â鶹Éç employee) working with MG ALBA's Head of Content, Alan Esslemont. Â鶹Éç ALBA has no formal headquarters. Its staff and operation are based across Scotland, in Stornoway, Inverness and Glasgow.

  MG ALBA is the organisation responsible for ensuring that a diverse range of high quality programmes in Gaelic are made available to people in Scotland by funding, commissioning or producing for television, radio, online and new media and by engaging in training, development and audience research. Programmes for Â鶹Éç ALBA are produced by the independent sector, the Â鶹Éç and STV.
