Pradeep wants to know when this 'family civil war' is going to end. Rita reckons she is the one always struggling to keep everyone happy - what about her feelings? Pradeep tells Rita she isn't the only one hurting here - how does she think he feels when she makes out she was forced to marry him?
Meanwhile Krishan is wisely informing Arun he knows that this is all due to mum and dad having marital problems but Arun reckons it will all blow over soon. Krishan claims that's what his friend's Gran said - now he visits his dad at weekends!
Jai finds Rita washing up and comments on how Rita and Pradeep managed to produced four great kids. Kamla comes in and agrees; Krishan is a real jewel - bit like Suresh. Jai makes a comment about Kamla's affections for her own children being divided. Rita announces she has a headache and needs to go lie down......
Later Rita finally reveals the truth to Jas. It was Jai and his friends who robbed the Post Office where Rita's dad worked. He was hurt in the incident and was never the same after that. He died shortly afterwards. Jai confessed to Rita at the time and she covered for him so Kamla wouldn't find out. Jas tells Rita she has to confront Jai about this and stop torturing herself.
Later Rita issues Jai with an ultimatum. Either he leaves or she tells Kamla everything. Jai reckons Rita is equally as guilty for staying silent for so long and Kamla won't thank her for it. Knowing about Jai might break her heart but she will never forgive Rita either!
