Jaggy groans in pain and shock. His wound won't stop bleeding and Simran sobs next to him, hysterical at what she has done. Pervaiz calls to them from outside, trying to find out if everything's OK, and Simran runs out, ignoring Jaggy's pleas that she stay. She bumps into Pervaiz and pushes him away, continuing to run outside to the canal.
Pervaiz enters the flat cautiously, scared because he thinks Jaggy has hurt Simran. He sees Jaggy lying on the floor and rushes over to try and stop the bleeding. He presses his jacket on the wound, calls for an ambulance and tries to calm Jaggy down. Jaggy keeps asking where Simran is but Pervaiz just tells him to hang on...
Pervaiz's shift is over and back at home Khatija starts to worry where he is. Zak tries to convince her that he'll be fine - she's just missing not having someone to talk to all day - but Khatija orders him to go to the flats to check he's alright. He tries calling his dad's mobile on the way and is frustrated when it's switched off - he hasn't got the energy to be searching all over.
Simran runs to Jodie's boat and bangs on the door, still crying and shaking. Jodie is shocked and wants to call the police...what happened? Who hurt her? Where is she bleeding? Simran isn't making sense so Jodie sits her down and asks her again: what happened?
Back at the flat, Jaggy is getting weaker. Pervaiz tries to keep him talking but even as they hear the ambulance arriving Jaggy can't hold on any longer. He manages to ask Pervaiz to say it was an accident and then slips out of consciousness. Pervaiz keeps on talking but Jaggy doesn't respond...
