Pervaiz visits Jodie at work to see how Simran is doing. Neither of them can believe what has happened and Pervaiz just hopes the couple can work things out. He offers to do anything he can to help.
At the Centre, Kamla's in a flap because Auntie Muneera has disappeared to Pakistan without warning. Imran can't get a word in as Kamla tells him he should use responsible volunteers. She stomps off saying he doesn't need to worry, she'll cope!
Krishan is with Pradeep at the allotments. Pradeep's a bit grumpy but Krishan amuses him with his talk about girlfriends. Krishan wants to know how to tell which girl is right and Pradeep says it's love that counts. He tries to explain what love is but all Krishan can say is girls are weird!
Imran presents Kamla with the answer to all her cooking problems - Khatija. He tried to tell her before but she wouldn't listen. Kamla immediately starts bossing Khatija around and reminds her she's in charge.
Meanwhile, Jodie is helping Mani redecorate his restaurant. He's struggling to accept all her radical ideas and can't quite believe what he's started! When Imran pops in he can't help feeling a bit sad too - the wall fans they're throwing away were the coolest thing in their day, honest!.
Back at the Centre, Khatija makes to go home and Kamla is onto her in a shot - what has she got in her bags? Khatija pretends it's just leftovers but then admits she put some food aside so that she didn't have to cook again at home. Kamla accuses her of stealing from old people but Khatija answers back that Kamla's old enough to be eating with them!
