Brian is at the marketing suite and gets a visit from an immigration officer who is following up on reports about an illegal worker. Brian calls Mushtaq; he is needed at the Marketing Suite.
Rozena tells Rita she took some 'me time' on her birthday but if her parents ask can Rita say she was with her. They might bump into each other at Dr Masud's get together tonight.
The immigration officer tells Mushtaq and Brian he is letting them off with a warning. Mushtaq says he is off home just as Rozena arrives. Rozena later asks Brian what part he can offer her in Trucon but Brian wants her to prove herself first. And she can start by getting herself back in the family business.
Over at the surgery Mushtaq's phone rings. He tells Zenab it's an important business call and he'll take it outside. Its Shazia calling and he tells her where he is. Shazia says to pass on her regards to Dr Masud.
Rita and Pradeep arrive and Zenab makes a snide comment about Jas before leading Mushtaq away to talk to someone else. Rita and Pradeep are livid but calm down when Dr Masud comes over to them. He asks after the whole family including Roopa and its clear Rita and Pradeep don't sense anything is wrong with her.
Elsewhere Mushtaq tells Dr Masud someone asked him to pass their regards on. It's the local MP, Shazia Malik. The doctor chuckles and says Shazia has been teasing Mushtaq. She is his daughter. Anyway, how exactly does Mushtaq know her?
