Khatija is annoyed she is getting a makeover for her birthday. Maybe Pervaiz shouldn't take her for a meal because she wouldn't want to embarrass him. Nadia tells her she has got the wrong end of the stick. They thought she deserved some pampering that's all.
Kuljit tries again to talk to Amrit but in vain. Amrit refuses to go to the restaurant saying he is watching the news. And he doesn't want to go to the boxing gym either. Kuls gives up and leaves for work.
Khatija is told she looks amazing and is surprised when Kamal hands her flowers before going back to his room. She heads off to put them in water. Pervaiz asks Nadia and Zak why Kamal has been so quiet lately. They tell him they recently took him to see one of the men he used to share a house with and how he blames Kamal for his deportation. Pervaiz goes up to see Kamal but can't convince him that none of that was his fault. Khatija shouts that they are getting late.
Over at the restaurant Khatija annoys Kuljit by complaining about the crockery being dirty. He grits his teeth and goes off to get her some clean ones. Khatija tells Pervaiz she thinks Nadia should meet Arshad again but Pervaiz points out Arshad is probably married by now. Khatija confesses she has already checked. Arshad is perfect and she is not letting him get away!
In the kitchen Kuls takes a call from Neera. She is worried about Amrit but doesn't think Kuls should start a court case against Rajvinder. Amrit's health might not be able to take it. Kuljit is willing to risk it. No-one is going to treat Amrit like that anymore.....
