Rita cooks a special breakfast for Jas to cheer her up and suggests they go shopping and have lunch together. Jas declines saying she promised to help Nadia deliver leaflets. Rita wonders when Imran is returning from Pakistan and is stunned when Jas says they finished.
Over at the Akhtars Kamal tells Nadia he had bad news from Afghanistan . Nadia says she overheard him talking about money on the phone but Kamal says it's fine and tells her to go and meet Jas as planned. Later, Kamal phones Hassan and confirms the worst. His family are in danger and need to get to Pakistan . Kamal must get some money to them urgently.
Jas tells Rita she doesn't think their relationship is the reason Imran took off to Pakistan . Something else was bothering him. Rita thinks it might still work out and Jas is surprised. She thought Rita would be pleased. Later Jas bumps into Rozena and tries to find out why Imran was so down before he left. Nadia turns up before Rozena can answer and she dashes off.
Pervaiz gets home from work and notices Kamal is preoccupied. Kamal says he needs to earn extra money and decides to head out and see if anyone local can help. He rushes off leaving Pervaiz wondering what the urgency is.
Rita goes to see Rozena for a chat but she is busy with work. Rozena suggests they catch up next week instead. On her way out Rita suggests Jas and Imran ending their relationship seems crazy after everything they went through but reckons given time everything passes. Rozena says not everything and when Rita asks what she means Rozena regains her composure saying she didn't mean anything......
