 Have your say
Simran tries to make things up with Pete by inviting him for a long weekend but only manages to get his answer-phone. She tells Kesar it looks like it’s just the two of them.
Nadia and Sway are having dinner with the Chauhans. Jas is chatting to Nadia when she gets a surprise phone call. It’s an old journalist friend from the newspaper she worked on. He’s not interested in catching up though, he’s only interested in her relationship with Imran. Jas is outraged and tells Nadia that she refused to talk to him.
Just then Arun bursts in, there’s a fire at Jilani stores! Rita phones the fire brigade and tells them it looks like it’s spreading to the flat next door, Simran’s flat. Pradeep bangs on the door shouting but can’t make Simran hear. He sends Arun and Sway off to find something to break the door down. At that moment Simran throws open her window, coughing. Pradeep shouts to her to throw Kesar down to him but Simran won’t, she’s too scared. Pradeep yells to throw him the keys then, he’ll come to her.
Pradeep rushes up to the flat and arrives just as the ceiling starts to collapse. Simran can’t get to him. Pradeep manages to take Kesar from her though. He pleads with Simran to push her way through but she screams at him to take Kesar to safety. Taking Kesar outside Pradeep promises to come back for her. Rita is relieved to see Pradeep but as he tries to get back inside to save Simran Rita pulls him back, it’s too dangerous. The fire brigade have arrived, let them do their job! Pradeep sees Simran at the window, she can’t breathe! He calls out to her, then there is an almighty crash from the salon and Simran disappears from view….
