Jaggy is playing with Kesar when the Doctor comes in with Pete. Jaggy overhears the doctor say Pete will be able to take Kesar home tomorrow. Jaggy jumps in, if anyone’s taking Kesar home it will be him! Simran is uneasy about Kesar staying with Jaggy but he talks her round, she doesn’t have much choice until she can go home. Jaggy shatters that illusion, there is no home left for her to go to…the flat, the salon, everything is destroyed. Pete walks in to see Simran’s despair and is furious with Jaggy for upsetting her.
Rozena and Zenab survey the damage. Zenab is sure this is down to Gary or the heavies they saw at Imran’s hearing so why haven’t the police arrested someone? Mushtaq is trying to sort out the insurance but Zenab keeps hassling him about the police. Rozena decides to get her mum out the way and leave Mushtaq in peace before they come to blows, so she drags her off to visit Simran.
When they’ve gone Mushtaq phones Shazia to talk about Zenab. He feels she has lied and kept so much from him he could never trust her again. Shazia knows he is looking for an excuse to end the marriage and puts him straight, this is not the right time, his family need him now.
Rozena’s made a decision, the fire has made her realise that this will never stop until she does something about it. She tells Sameer it’s time she told the police everything. Sameer is worried for her though and makes her promise to wait a few days until she’s sure. If she still feels the same then he’ll come with her…
