Pete is sorting out equipment at the boxing gym with Sean. Sean notices Pete has bought some new things, he’s had to invest some money to make any back.
Rozena is having a coffee with Rita at her place, they’re all walking on egg shells at her house. It’ll all be out in the open at the trial then everyone will be treating her like that. Rita is sure Rozena has done the right thing, Imran will stand a better chance now. Rozena doesn’t quite know how she will be able to tell everyone in Court though.
Pete asks Sean whether he’s spoken to Mary he shouldn’t be too harsh on her, she had a fallout with Bill over Siobhan as well recently. Sean says he’s just trying to be even handed, he keeps finding out new things and it messes with his head.
Pete explains that Siobhan did some terrible things as she was an addict and the smack controlled every choice she made, sometimes he hated her, especially at 16 years old when he had been saving for tickets to a boxing match and she stole all the money. Her drug habit ruled all of their lives. She always loved him but she couldn’t look after him, Mary gave her a chance but then had to do what was best for all of them.
Rozena thanks Rita for listening to her but Rita explains that Jas doesn’t really know what to do about Imran. She understands it was self defence but senses something else is wrong. Rozena thinks that Jas must think Imran has psycho tendencies and tells Rita to tell Jas everything about the attempted rape.
Pete tells Sean that he wishes Simran wasn’t living with Jaggy. Siobhan rings Sean to suggest a day trip out, just the three of them and he can meet Hannah but Sean says he’s busy. Siobhan is disappointed.
