Darren is having trouble writing his best man speech and thinks his parents are the worst people to turn to for advice on the matter. Sandra gets a call from Brian pretending to be someone Spanish after she drops Darren off at the wedding venue. When she cottons on it’s Brian he says ‘April Fool’s …’ Sandra is caught off guard and gets flustered when Brian asks her if she’s missing him. She doesn’t answer him but asks to meet up if he’s free later. He says he can’t meet her as he’s in Spain.
Simran is upset when Jaggy is unavailable to spend time with her. He gives her a birthday card from Kesar and promises to make it up to her. At the venue Simran gets stressed when the magazine pulls out of the wedding shoot and she tells Sandra that she can’t wait to take a break. Sandra offers her the use of her villa in Spain when the football season ends and tells Simran she can also help her get a photo deal with another magazine.
Later that night Simran and Kesar are fast asleep on the sofa when Jaggy arrives home. Jaggy gently wakes Simran and presents her with a key to their dream house in Heatherton Wood and wishes her a happy belated birthday.
