Have your say

Over an after work drink, Kenny tells Jaggy he’s lucky. He knows where he is with Simran. Jaggy wonders what Kenny’s on about – he can’t see Sandra springing any surprises on Kenny. But Kenny tells Jaggy he’d be amazed.

Simran tells Sandra she can stay over for a bit, to give her and Kenny time to cool off. Jaggy reluctantly agrees to Sandra staying when he realises she can babysit for free. He worries about Kenny though.

Nadia and Khatija have a heart to heart. Khatija won’t leave the house; is she ashamed of her daughter? Khatija explains that with Pervaiz unwell and surrounded by relatives, he can’t be told the truth. Khatija feels lucky that it was SHE who answered the phone to Zenab and not Pervaiz. Nadia points out how helpful Zenab has been, while Nadia’s been here alone. Later, Khatija can’t sleep. She opens up to Nadia about feeling useless. Nadia explains why she told Zenab about her overdose but not her parents. She didn’t want to worry them. However, Khatija knows that you never stop worrying about your children. Nadia asks Khatija to plait her hair, like the old days. Khatija is happy to do so and says she’ll plait it very small, like the girls in Mirpur.
