Â鶹Éç in the news, Wednesday
Daily Mail: "The Â鶹Éç was accused of dumbing down yesterday after it revealed plans to broadcast a 60-second news summary on its main channel at 8pm." ()
The Guardian: "Former Â鶹Éç director general Greg Dyke has warned today the corporation will be "hamstrung" by its new governance body, the Â鶹Éç Trust." ()

Greg Dyke is right, the Â鶹Éç Trust would slow things down. How dare anyone think that the people who are paying the bill to run Â鶹Éç have a right to look over its management's shoulders and second guess them to see if what they agree an expenditure is actually in the best interest of the fee payers or not? What is this, democracy or something, Â鶹Éç will have none of it. Damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead.
