In
Norland near Sowerby Bridge in Calderdale it's become a late-summer
custom for people living in the village to build scarecrows -
traditional, and not-at-all-traditional! - and place them in some
very surprising locations around their gardens, homes, farms and
fields. Hundreds of visitors then descend on Norland to follow
the Scarecrow Trail and try to find them all!
Take a look at just some of this year's scarecrows with our photogallery
- but remember: we didn't manage to find them all!
If you've got pics of any of the other scarecrows we missed (and
we're sure there are loads of them...) then send them in to us
at westyorkshire@bbc.co.uk
and we'll include your photos right here!
