Week 6

ÌýWatch a clip from this week

Spirit Academy is my search for the UK's next psychic superstar. Thousands of gifted hopefuls fought for just eight places in my academy. The winners are getting some top notch psychic training - all under the guidance of little old me.

Studying at my Academy isn't a walk in the park. As my students' paranormal skills have developed, I've been eliminating them one by one, leaving a single outright winner. Last week, Chrissy became the second student to leave the Academy.

This week it was time for some proper one-to-one training. I had a fascinating task for my young apprentices. (Well, not all of them are that young, mentioning no names Sylvia! Ha ha, only kidding. She may be an old woman but she's a young soul!)

I asked them to do a reading on an imaginary audience, while I played the part of an unwanted spirit coming through to make their job difficult. They had to deal with the spirit - who could a drunkard, a poltergeist, or even a foreigner - while keeping going with the reading. I call this task Ghostomer Services, and it's tougher than it looks, believe me!

For the elimination we played a game called One of Us. Tune in to see how it worked - it's quick and brutal, and I find it a perfect technique for flushing out excess baggage in a group of friends or colleagues.
