Lisa Faulkner as Laura Scammel

Laura Scammel (played by Lisa Faulkner)

Defence Lawyer in Jack Roper's chambers.

Laura's yet to find her feet in the legal world after suffering an early setback when the chambers she joined following her pupillage collapsed. Subsequently, she accepted her parents' offer to join the family chambers on the understanding that it was a temporary measure to gain experience.

Laura established her independence by defecting to Jack's chambers. As her professional confidence grows so does her courage to speak out for what she believes is right.


Lisa Faulkner

Lisa started out as a model, before moving into acting at 18. She's married to fellow actor Chris Coghill, who was her co-star in Burn It.

Career Highlights

  • The role of Helen Flynn in Spooks - one of Lisa's most memorable. Her character's death - shot after having her head pushed into a deep fat fryer - came as a huge shock to viewers.
