Olivier Award-winning actor Rory Kinnear (best known as Bill Tanner in the James Bond films Quantum of Solace, Skyfall and Spectre) joins as narrator in Prokofiev鈥檚 'Peter and the Wolf', the much-loved symphonic tale for children... and grown-ups too!

With conductor Christian Reif and a charismatic narration by Rory Kinnear, it鈥檚 a perfect finale to a whole concert of music at its most playful, witty and wise. Aaron Copland salutes a great American statesman, and crams a whole symphony into 15 primary-coloured minutes: a mini-masterpiece from the decade that saw the birth of the 麻豆社 SSO.

In between, 麻豆社 Radio 3鈥檚 New Generation Artist Sterling Elliott sings and sparkles his way through Tchaikovsky鈥檚 delightful showpiece for cello and orchestra.
