Members of the 麻豆社 Singers and 麻豆社 Symphony Chorus invite you to an afternoon workshop singing excerpts from The Dream of Gerontius and The Apostles. The workshop is suitable for people who are able to read music and all voices are welcome. This workshop will be led by 麻豆社 Singer Edward Price. A booklet of extracts from The Apostles and The Dream of Gerontius will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own scores if you would prefer to do so.
This is part of the 麻豆社 Symphony Orchestra's 2013-14 Barbican season. The orchestra celebrates the 70th birthday of Conductor Laureate Sir Andrew Davis with performances of two Elgar oratorios at the Barbican.
