Concert information

Nielsen got the idea for his Second Symphony in a country pub, and it鈥檚 as fresh, funny and uninhibited as that sounds. Thomas Dausgaard and the 麻豆社 SSO excel in this music: first, though, comes the fire and ice of Sibelius鈥檚 Violin Concerto.

Pre-concert talk at 6.30pm.

The concert, which is promoted by Sage Gateshead, will be recorded for future broadcast on 麻豆社 Radio 3.
