Concert Information

Two intense chordal strikes summon the inescapability of fate underpinning Brahms鈥檚 Tragic Overture. Unearthed from a pile of old manuscripts, Franz Schubert鈥檚 Symphony No. 9 was discovered by Robert Schumann from a trunk gathering dust years after the composer鈥檚 passing. Known as 鈥楾he Great鈥, Schubert鈥檚 final symphony is inspired by his love of nature and the alps.

Please note: These concerts are live broadcasts. Please arrive at least 30 minutes before the advertised concert start time to allow adequate time to pass through security and to be admitted into the studio. Latecomers will not be permitted into the studio once the broadcast is in progress.
