Ephemeral forms open out into a lyrical spring morning in Boulanger鈥檚 D鈥檜n matin de printemps. From the light, we turn inwards to M盲gi鈥檚 Vesper, where beautifully sweeping melodic lines form a hushed prayer-like contemplation. Ravel鈥檚 Mother Goose Suite is infused with enchanting fairytales and wonder. Finally, Weinberg鈥檚 Sinfonietta No. 1 is filled with influences of Jewish, Polish and Moldovan folk music.
