For Families

The 麻豆社 Proms is a great place to introduce your family to classical music, with half-price tickets available for under-18s at every concert. There are two Horrible Science concerts created especially for children and the Relaxed Prom offers an informal, Transatlantic-themed matinee in celebration of the 250th anniversary of America's Declaration of Independence.

We travel through history, from traditional folk songs and dances in Copland鈥檚 Appalachian Spring, through the contemplative Quiet City to Chris Brubeck鈥檚 contemporary blend of classical, jazz, blues and country music. His Travels in Time for Three is a thrill-ride concerto composed for virtuoso string trio Time for Three and orchestra.
