Actually, if we're honest, we don't exactly mean the herbs pictured above, but who knows, they may be distant cousins!

Hamish Marett-Crosby's latest foray into the world of food and drink takes us into the land of culinary herbs.

The idea is to look at just some of the many examples of culinary herbs and find out how they grow and how you would use them in the kitchen.

We have information and pictures of the herbs available on the site, to help you identify them! We will also be including some yummy recipes for you to try out at home (and don't worry, in our duty as a public service, we'd be more than willing to carry out a taste-test!)
