Now take control over allocating what time you have left.
- Make a list of things you need to do, and prioritise what needs doing
into Important, Necessary and Time-waster.
- Break down your workload into specific targets for each study period.
It will make those big important projects seem less daunting and you
will have a sense of achievement.
- Estimate how long each task will take. You can then set a realistic
amount of time for each activity.
- Set yourself early deadlines and build in extra time in case the
work takes longer than expected. You will also feel less pressurised.
- Allow some time for leisure.
- Keep your diary and list up-to-date, ticking off completed work and
amending your timings if necessary.
- Short regular sessions are normally more effective providing the
time is well balanced.
