Role-play phrases for use in department stores are first introduced and then put into use in real-life scenarios at a Munich department store; brief question-answer sequence to enquire about opening hours follows.

Shopping
The clip begins with a short description in English of Munich being the fashion capital of the South of Germany. The narrator then poses the question in German, "what are you buying today?". One person is buying glasses. This leads to the modelling in German of how to ask for glasses in different colours and how to say that you like a particular colour. This vocabulary is then put into a real context in a shop where a girl wants to buy some new sunglasses.

Majority of clip provides detailed information about King Ludwig, his castle and death in English; some useful phrases at the souvenir shop are presented in German.
