Welcome to the Sesame Tree!

Activity Cards

Sometimes it seems we have to wait a long time for something to happen and we are told it will only take a 'wee minute' - a wee minute usually seems like a very long minute. Why does it always take so long especially when it is something we are really looking forward to?

How long is a wee minute?

DISCUSSION QUESTIONS Have you ever had to wait for something or someone special? Did it feel like a long time? When do you have to wait at pre-school? How do you feel? Have you ever had to wait for your turn in the sand? What could you do so that waiting doesn't feel so long?
