CÂ鶹Éç Autumn 2005
Dick & Dom in da Bungalow

Charlie and Lola join Dick & Dom for the CÂ鶹Éç Autumn line-up

Introduction

Kids' favourites Dick & Dom return to CÂ鶹Éç this autumn for the long-awaited fifth series of their hugely successful Saturday morning show, Dick & Dom in da Bungalow.

Ìý

But da Bungalow has had something of a revamp over the summer with a new look, fresh games and even a gorgeous garden.

Ìý

There's also a special treat in store this series as, for the first time, some well-known faces will be allowed into da Bungalow and will join in the fun and games with the Bungalowheads.

Ìý

The somewhat gentler antics of brother and sister Charlie and Lola are sure to captivate younger children and their parents on CBeebies as the best-selling books by Lauren Child come to life in this new, home-grown animation series.

Ìý

Telling the everyday stories of seven-year-old Charlie and his mischievous little sister Lola, the series tackles all those important topics for pre-schoolers like losing a tooth, finding the right book and trying new foods - even the dreaded tomatoes.

Ìý

The long-awaited Muffin The Mule is revived this Autumn to entertain a whole new generation of children, as it has done since it first debuted in the Forties.

Ìý

Muffin has some familiar friends joining him with a new animated look that kids of today will love.

Ìý

Living It is the title of a fantastic new comedy drama for CÂ鶹Éç which really gets to grips with the issues facing kids as they approach their teenage years.

Ìý

The series is relevant and contemporary and written especially to resonate with the CÂ鶹Éç audience.

Ìý

CÂ鶹Éç favourites Fearne Cotton and Reggie Yates are taking viewers on the trip of their lives as they wend their way round the good old US of A in a Mustang convertible for Only In America.

Ìý

CÂ鶹Éç Controller Alison Sharman said: "We've some incredibly exciting content for the Autumn season - from contemporary drama to engaging pre-school animation.

Ìý

"CÂ鶹Éç continues to offer its young audiences an unrivalled range and depth of programming and website content.

Ìý

"Charlie and Lola is a stand out pre-school show offering very young children the opportunity to explore some of the issues they encounter each day.

Ìý

"I'm sure the show strengthens CBeebies' place as the home of the very best pre-school content."
