Musicians’ Union Strike

The Âé¶¹Éç’s proposal to disband five of its ensembles, including the Âé¶¹Éç SSO, and the cancellation of about two weeks of that summer’s Âé¶¹Éç Proms. When the strike was called off the Âé¶¹Éç Scottish Symphony Orchestra had been reprieved, but a number of other Âé¶¹Éç ensembles were axed.
