Part of the White season about ethnicity in Britain. Filmmaker Henry Singer tells the story of the Wibsey Workingmen’s Club in Bradford. The club is struggling to survive, and members’ worries for the beloved institution reflect larger anxieties about their community. With high unemployment, immigration and the smoking ban, members feel their way of life is under threat. For related archive programmes visit http://www.bbc.co.uk/archive/white.
