As Russia is hit with growing Western sanctions over its attack on Ukraine, Moscow is looking to its partner China for political and economic support. Beijing has failed to condemn the invasion but says it wants a peaceful solution in Europe. It's a region where China has been investing in huge projects. But there are allegations of worker exploitation, environmental damage and so-called "debt traps" involving Chinese state companies - accusations that Beijing denies.
