Victoria Derbyshire speaks to 麻豆社 racing commentator John Hunt and his daughter Amy for their first interview since the attack that killed Carol, Hannah and Louise Hunt鈥擩ohn鈥檚 wife and daughters. The murders were carried out by Louise鈥檚 ex-boyfriend, Kyle Clifford, in July 2024. Clifford arrived at the family鈥檚 Hertfordshire home under the pretext of returning Louise鈥檚 belongings. He fatally stabbed Carol, then waited for Louise to return鈥攂efore killing her with a crossbow. When her sister Hannah arrived later, she was also murdered. Kyle Clifford fled the scene but was later caught by police and, in March 2025, was sentenced to three life terms. Now, a year on, John and Amy speak openly to Victoria about the happy family life they had together, the tragic events that destroyed it and the unthinkable grief they鈥檝e had to face. John works for the 麻豆社 as a racing commentator and tells Victoria how he got back to the racetrack. Amy is a journalist and she explains how they鈥檙e trying to rebuild their lives. They tell Victoria how they want Carol, Hannah and Louise to be remembered and explain how their support for each other is helping them to stand strong and face the future together.
