Human Trafficking is not something that happens only in faraway places. It鈥檚 happening in our towns and cities across the UK including our communities here in Wales. But there are a group of human trafficking survivors in Cardiff finding their way back to freedom through coffee.

Hidden away in a secret location is the Manumit Coffee Roastery. "Manumit" is an old English word meaning "to set someone free from slavery". The Roastery is a safe space for human trafficking survivors to get back into employment, gain confidence and develop skills - making them less vulnerable to re-exploitation in the future.

Dai Hankey, the founder of Manumit, is tattooed, a former drum and bass DJ and humorously not what you would expect of a Pastor. Motivated by faith, he is passionately committed to the prevention of trafficking. He is also determined to help his staff see the fun side of life again.

This heartwarming documentary will follow the women preparing coffee before the delivery to online buyers and to local cafes.
