Nolla铆 is just a regular, run-of-the-mill deer. He鈥檚 a little tall for a deer, but he鈥檚 always been told he鈥檚 big-boned. He鈥檚 been living life with his human family; his sister and best friend, Sadhbh, and Dad. He came into their lives one wintry night ten years ago when they found him scared and alone in the stone circle on the mountain.

One day, everything is flipped on its head as he accidentally stumbles across a surprise that reveals he is possibly the last living Megaloceros giganteus, aka the extinct giant deer, in existence! It does explain a lot, though. Like how he鈥檚 only ten years old and already as tall as Dad鈥檚 tractor! Once the truth sinks in, Nolla铆鈥檚 head fills with questions. Where did he come from? Does he have a giant deer mam or dad? Nolla铆 and Sadhbh embark on a journey of discovery to find out.
