Liam Ó Maonlaà is a musician and songwriter best known as the lead singer of Hothouse Flowers. Niwel Tsumbu hails from the Congo and is a prolific guitarist, vocalist, musician, collaborator and composer. Éamonn Cagney is one of Ireland’s most accomplished hand drum percussionists and also a regular musical partner of Niwel Tsumbu. All three artists share a gift for improvisation, and all three bring that gift to this first episode of CUMASC: Seisiúin sa Black Gate, which features a blend of musical collaborations, recorded rehearsals, interviews and lots more.
