Linton Stephens brings you an afternoon of exclusive music-making. Today, there is a continuation of the week-long focus on the Royal Scottish National Orchestra as principle trumpeter Chris Hart joins the orchestra in Haydn's Trumpet Concerto, conducted by Thomas Sondergard. Also in the programme, chamber music composed by Ravel and Haydn. The Kalamos Quintet play a wind arrangement of Ravel's Le Tombeau de Couperin, the Carducci String Quartet perform Haydn's Quartet in Bb major, nicknamed 鈥楽unrise' and violinist Maria Duenas joins pianist Evgeny SInaisky in Ravel's Tzigane - Rapsodie de Concert. Plus the artists in focus are renowned Dutch piano duo, Lucas and Arthur Jussen who perform Poulenc's Concerto for Two Pianos in D minor with the Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra.
